In order to stay in MLM network marketing business successfully, you need to have these characteristics in place. You have to get started for the long run.
NO QUIT ATTITUDE
Do not give MLM a try. If you do, you have failed before you get started. The average person has to absolutely believe in their own self in order to stay in this game.
Do not give yourself an out. Such statements goes like, “if I don’t make it in 6 months I am out. All you would be busy doing is looking for all the excuses why it won’t work out for you. I promise you. You will find those excuses faster than you will find a reason to change your life.
Think about it. In life do you quit waking up in the morning if yesterday was a bad day? If you said yes, this business is not for you. If you said no, treat this business just like that. What do you have to lose? The only way you will fail in ANY MLM business is if you quit.
COMMITMENT
Network marketing is a simple home based business but it’s not easy. It’s like a roller coster. You will have your ups and you will have your down time.
My mentor, George Zalucki said, commitment is doing what you said you will do long after the mood you said it ends. MLM is like a marriage. On the wedding day you are in heaven. Two weeks after the wedding, you found out that your wife likes farting for fun with little regards for anyone around. Okay! This is not the best example but you get my point.
Then you started questioning yourself. But you are committed. You will not divorce her because of that. So is your Network Marketing business. There will be good and bad days. Prospects will disappoint. They wont pick up their phone. There probably will be a month that you might not recruit anyone. FOCUS on the goal.
POSITIVE ATTITUDE
You need to become a leader to be successful in a Network Marketing business. One of the characteristics of a true leader is that they are very optimistic. Its not about where you are now. Its about where you are going. There is a positive in every situation. This is a marathon. Only the people with the right attitude will survive it. Trust me when I say that. Cavett Robert quotes; “If you don’t think every day is a good day, just try missing one.” Be thankful. Appreciate what you have and the people around you.
